Java Developer

BU ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) is a cloud service provider whose core business and mission is to discover and utilize value surrounded by vehicle data.

Job Description
We are looking for a Java Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between server and users. The primary focus will be development of all server-side application logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities
I. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code along with requirement specification
II. Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications
III. Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
IV. Implementation of security and data protection
V. Integration of data storage solutions which may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.

Skills and Qualifications
1. 3+ years Java hands-on experience
2. Proficiency in Java (1.7 or later), JUnit, database technologies. Experience developing web applications ( expertise in all/most of these ) - Spring MVC, JPA, REST, Cloud Foundry, Jackson, Web Services, SOA, JPA
3. Solid understanding of Linux or Unix operating systems
4. Basic knowledge of common web frontend technologies (HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax, WebSockets)
5. Solid knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, and componentization approaches and security protocols
6. Strong technical and analytical skills
7. Strong attention to detail
8. Experience in software design patterns, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
9. Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
10. Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
11. Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
12. Strong unit test and debugging skills
13. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git 举报 分享
