职位描述：
The candidate can be based in either Beijing or Hongkong

Responsibility:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides both operational and programmatic support to the Asian
organizations of the Group. The CFO supervises the finance units of Asia and of all Asian
subsidiaries of the Group. He/she is in regular exchange with the Management Team Finance of
the Group. In Asia, the CFO is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization.
? Work with the other executives and the board on the strategic vision including fostering and
cultivating stakeholder relationships on city, state, and national levels, as well as assisting in
the development and negotiation of contracts.
? Participate in developing new business, specifically: assist in identifying new funding
opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost
effectiveness of prospective service delivery.
? Manage the financial supervision of Asian portfolio of companies and participations.
? Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization
including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding
agencies, development and monitoring of organizational and contract/grant budgets.
? Provide the management and relevant staff member with an overview of the organization’s
financial conditions
? Pass the analytical finding, decisions and recommendations to the board.
? Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the
organization and oversee federal awards and programs.
? Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors ensuring all audit issues are
resolved, and all compliance issues are met, and the preparation of the annual financial
statements is in accordance to federal, state and other required supplementary schedules and
information.
? Manage interface to parent company in Germany
? Monitor banking activities of the Asian organizations
? Develop and foster the relations to external credit grantors and other institutions which have a
financial importance for the organization

Requirement:
Completion of a master's degree or comparable at an accredited university as well as longtime
international financial and management experience
? Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
? Excellent knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles
? Consolidated knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
? Familiar with policies and laws of Mainland China and Hong Kong
? Ideally knowledge of the Asian waste management market and a regional network or rather the
ability to build a network
? Experienced, goal-oriented and dynamic personality with distinct communicational skills as well as
negotiating skills and a sovereign appearance
? Analytic, strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with high level of process orientation
? Consolidated concept of leading as well as the ability to establish a relational level with others and
to motivate them
? Very high intercultural competence with a balanced relationship between assertiveness and
diplomatic skills
