Job Description:
- Manage and lead a multi-disciplinary team with local/ overseas E & M consultants and contractors, take projects from inception through to completion
- Control and monitor the design and installation of E & M services of large-scale mixed-used development projects
- Liaise with utilities and government regulatory bodies
- Prepare budgets and resources planning; select and recommend local and overseas consultants/ contractors, ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specifications
- Provide critical appraisals and viable proposals for technical and functional standards of design and construction
- Manage and control design changes, construction costs and cash flow
- Review contractor/ consultant submissions and shop drawings and implement environmental initiatives
- Supervise contractors on site, administer contracts and work closely with colleagues
- Motivate staff and develop their professional skills
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Building Services Engineering or related disciplines
- Chartered Engineer, Corporate Member of CIBSE, IEE, HKIE or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience with proven record of successful delivery of commercial/ hotel/ retail projects.
- Solid understanding of engineering systems, legislation and practice of property development in Hong Kong and PRC
- Dynamic, self-motivated and able to work independently with excellent people management and interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Putonghua
