Responsibility:
? Participate in the delivery of Computer Support Service Catalogue, and ensure agreed service levels are met.
? Maintain service to the business according to business needs
? Interface with other resolver groups/suppliers in order to assist in providing solutions
? Ensure our customers remain up to date and informed on issues and initiatives relating to the areas of accountability outlined above
? Receiving end user request through ticketing tool.
? Provide resolutions if under scope else assist User in providing E2E assistance in case if the issue is out of Scope
? Ticket creation/Categorization / Prioritization
? Ticket escalation to respective Support Group
? Incident resolution and recovery
? Ticket Closure.
Requirement:
3+ years experience End user computing support
1. Solid interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact effectively with both technical and managerial audiences
2. Clear and strong customer focus and relationship
3. Good Analytical & Coordination skills are essential.
4. Strong work ethic, combined with ability to work independently
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills
6. Flexibility and ability to prioritise competing demands
7. Must be flexible and able to accommodate occasional off-hours work
8. Ability to perform in adverse situations
1. Strong knowledge on Desk top / laptop hardware ( Intel /Dell/ HP/ IBM)
2. Good knowledge on flavors of OS ( Windows)
3. Good knowledge on problem solving approaches
4. MCP / MCSE qualified engineer
5. Smart phones configuration and support.
6. Basic Application / software installation and trouble shooting.
7. Sharepoint support.
8. Networking\VPN troubleshooting
9. User Adminstration tasks\Active Directory
10. Office 365 support
1. Skills in written and verbal communication.
2. Skills in managing multi vendor environment and ability to work with various resolver groups in driving the speedy resolution
1. English skill Verbal and writtem
2. Knowledge/exposure on ticketing tools like ServiceNow Remedy, Siebel, Clarify, CA helpdesk, VNC, ControlF1, Dame Ware, Net meeting, Microsoft Share point etc
3. Good communication skills and customer management experience
4. Strong knowledge on operations/service delivery and ability to manage critical situations with minimum supervision
5. Willing to accommodate occasional off-hours work
6. Troubleshooting skills on desktop.
7. Thorough Knowledge on active directory, domain controllers etc
8. Troubleshooting skills on desktop and shrink-wrapped applications(MS office, Adobe etc)
9. Troubleshooting skills on VPN connectivity, dial up , wireless routers
10. Exposure to password reset tools
11. Troubleshooting experience using remote control tools.
12. Trouble shooting skills and experience in handling Exchange (outlook)/Lotus Notes environment
