I. JOB SUMMARY: Briefly describe the overall role of the job and why the job exists in the organization
The Global Payroll Consolidation project encapsulates a migration from the use of a variety of individual payroll providers per country within Asia Pacific towards a single payroll provider per region. Within APAC, the solution vendor ADP has been selected to provide payroll and Time management services.
The project encompasses the following tasks:
? Integration of payroll process related interfaces between ADP (Payroll Provider) and Pfizer’s hrSource PeopleSoft system.
? Integration of other HR process related interfaces between the selected consolidated vendor platform and Pfizer’s hrSource PeopleSoft system (such as Benefits, ERP) and Total Fixed Rewards (TFR) for Australia and Claims Module for some countries).
? Deployment of the ADP XSS (Manager and Employee Self-Service) Portal application for end user access to application functionality such as payslips and time recording.
The Payroll Consultant’s primary responsibility is to manage all business related activities such as business requirements gathering and planning, solution design review and signoff, data analysis, cleanup and data conversion, User Acceptance testing, parallel runs, go live preparation and change management. Maintain business relationship with local HR, HRBT, C&B, Finance, Treasury, Tax, legal and other business teams during the implementation phase till transition to the operations Lead. Ensure compliance to local legal and regulatory requirements to keep Pfizer legal.
The position will report to the HR-MOS Regional APAC Payroll Lead, with travel estimating 25% on need-to- basis.
II. ACCOUNTABILITIES: List the major functions of this job
? Plan and facilitate Pfizer Business Requirement Workshop prior to joint vendor workshop
? Coordinate and complete business requirements gathering in accordance with planned project timeline by countries
? Act as primary payroll business owner during the implementation phase such as workshop, solution design & configuration, data cleansing & data conversion, testing and go-live preparation
? Business Lead in communication, change management and end-users training for flawless execution
? Go live support and knowledge transfer to the operations team for proper hand-over, deliverables include business requirements, solution design, operations manual, agreed SLA and outstanding actions if any
III. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: List the specific skills, knowledge and abilities that are required
? Bachelors degree in Accountancy or relevant professional qualifications
? 5-8 years of working in a fast paced MNC environment with onshore/offshore delivery models
? Knowledge of PeopleSoft, SAP, Payroll and HR domain
? Passion for payroll and attention for details
IV. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: List the specific skills, knowledge and abilities that are preferred
? Prior SAP Payroll Project implementation experience and executed minimum of 3 project life cycles
? Demonstrated expertise with process re-engineering, change management and structured problem solving skill

? Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to be able to interact with all levels of organization
? Ability to quickly define problem statement and clearly articulate the issues & concerns, for team discussion
? Proficient user in Microsoft Office Application, eg. Window, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Flow chart, etc
