Tasks

With the launch of our new BMW Brilliance Automotive foundry in Shenyang, we are looking for logistic coordinator to supervise and improve the logistic processes in the whole foundry. The biggest challenge is to implement a running logistic process and coordinate and use existing organizations and functions in the BMW Brilliance Automotive environment. Especially during the ramp up phase the first 3 years all relevant logistic topics need a central coordination and responsibility inside the foundry technologies. This is necessary to achieve the planned production figures and guarantee the quality. The supplier chain and transportation management for foundry has to be defined and confirment with the existing organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Define the necessary logistic processes to run the foundry in BMW Brilliance Automotive

- Define and adjust the foundry transport management

- Adjust the supplier chain especially for foundry (included in the NEP and BMW Brilliance Automotive environment)

- Coordinate and check our internal and external logistic supplier (shared service partners).

- Lead the change coordination process for new products in foundry. Monitor and report to head of foundry

- Coordinate and lead new material in the foundry process.

- Define, test and implement IT-system changes in logistic process.

- Project manager product line early phase.

- Responsible for the logistic ramp up of the foundry

Qualifications

- Bachelor is requested, Master should be advantage

- Organizational skills and assertiveness

- Good knowledge of materials in the foundry environment

- knowledge of MS Office

- Fluent in English language

- Teamwork and communication skills

- Analytical thinking

- Willingness to travel abroad

- Logistic knowledge in supplier chain and transportation management

- Background in computer science and technology, logistics,4-6 years

- Experience with supplier chain and transportation management,1-3 years

- Experience in production logistics especially in Automotive industry,1-3 years
