Advanced Specialist Validation Powertrain&Chassis

Tasks

To ensure the proper implementation of effective chassis, engine and power train system analysis (including E/E), implement ATG checking process and pre-series vehicle checking and analysis

Key Responsibility

- To analyze the problems about the chassis and Powertrain system and build up analysis report

- Development of rework solutions and immediate measures

- Preparation for decision-making (coordination with other plants/specialist departments)

- Steering of launch capability tests and their results in terms of deadlines and content within the scope of the project

- Organizing and assuring the presentation of all problems including hand-shake

- Determining the content of test instructions for new defect types and new products

- Learn the customer functions of the vehicles (specialization if necessary) also in the interplay between components and customer functions relating to chassis and drive systems, diagnostic functions (relating to customer functions), encoding , programming, etc

- Definition of methods for error analysis test system + use of tools. Planning system function tests; support for the implementation of the test/check plan

- Conduct FIT and ATG tests

- Document test results

- Identify product and process risks. Analyze errors, initial reports in error reporting line and FBP

- Develop/Communicate E/E requirements of components and I series

- Support for the integration of the components / I stages in production

- Document potential improvements and documentation as part of the requirement management procedure for product and process

Qualification

- University degree(bachelor or higher degree) in mechanical or electronic engineering with very good theoretical background or qualification acquired in a similar position

- Knowledge of automotive engine, gear box and chassis system

- Knowledge of Can Bus, flex Ray

- Proficiency with BMW analysis tools

- Skills with driving, office software

- Competency of problem analysis

- Proficient English, German would be an advantage

- Background in engine, automobile production, development, 7-10 years

- Experience with engine Powertrain or chassis problem solving, 4-6 years

- Several years experience in car manufacturing, 4-6 years
