Responsibilities
· Work with business analysts and business users to understand the overall business environment and key challenges.
· Provide leadership to overseas data development teams for successful implementation of the projects.
· Responsible for improving and enhancing BI business Systems
· Liaise with customer, architecture teams and subject matter experts from other countries and influence technical roadmap decisions.
· Pro-actively propose opportunities for application of technology to business opportunities.
· Provide advice and guidance to database designers and others using data structures and associated components.
· Monitor BI project quality, metrics and budget, manage project execution, institute project control, perform project closure
Requirements
· Degree (or above) in Computer Science or equivalent.
· At least 8 years experience in Information Technology.
· At least 5 years experience in Data and BI.
· Solid understanding of the following technologies (.NET, XML, Web Services, Single Sign-On, Mobile technologies) and databases (Oracle, MS SQL).
· Substantial BI experience (i.e. Cognos, Informatica, SSRS, SAS, SAP, Business Objects, OBIEE, Hyperion, DWH Table design, ETL, etc.).
· Understand Enterprise Architecture principles and broad knowledge of IT.
· Exemplary communication skills in English
· Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priority projects.
· Ability to negotiate and influence.
· Must be a strong, articulate communicator.
· Pharmaceutical experience will be advantageous.
