Job Description
Role summary:
BI Business Analyst role will be part of rapidly growing BI Consulting practice in InnoCellence and will drive and own gathering, analysis and documentation of business & functional requirements in large data programs. The role is expected to influence and guide business with best practices and structured analysis approach.
By assessing the impact on the business both technically and operationally with regards to new BI systems, this role will have responsibility for recommending solutions and actions that will overcome business problems to increase efficiencies and effectiveness for the overall organization.
This role will participate / lead on strategy & consulting assignments on defining Business Benefits and KPIs. This role will also advise “to-be” business processes and overall process architecture. And will work with technical architects to define solution landscape for BI projects.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience & Skills requirements:
? Deep experience of working in Data Warehousing & Analytics / BI projects, and Business Analysis experience in BI / Analytics programs. End-end implementation experience preferred.
? Experience and knowledge of BI Products such as SAP Business Objects XI, IBM Cognos, Oracle/Oracle BI 11g, Informatica, Trillium, and/or MS SSAS/SSRS 2008.
? Exposure to Marketing processes and solutions in a Data Warehouse/BI environment.
? Business process mapping and business process consulting (as-is and to-be).
? Gathering and analyzing requirements using industry best practices.
? Understanding of KPIs / dashboards and ability to collect Analytics requirements.
? Mapping of business requirements to packaged solution and produce functional designs.
? Ability to influence and guide business and management stakeholders.
? Deep experience in pharmaceutical and global company is desirable.
Personal attributes:
1. Mandarin and English (one is native), Japanese (Optional)
2. Excellent Communication (written and verbal).
3. Strong presentation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Drive and passion to succeed.
