Advanced Specialist Requirements Infotainment and Validation

Tasks

Responsible for the infotainment system, has to define the requirements and the test equipment of the infotainment system. Additionally the tests have to be carried out

Key Responsibility

- Define the requirements for the infotainment system, and write specifications

- Execution of test cases, recording of errors and results in reports and error reporting systems

- Updating HW and SW of test setups and ECUs; Programming and execution of automated test setups in a test automation framework

- Performing regular tests of the iDrive entertainment system, resulting in error reports. Confirmation of bug fixes and feature improvements

- Adjust existing test cases to the Chinese market

- Maintain and extend current laboratory test setups in wiring, HW installations etc

- Regular contact to the relevant departments in the German headquarter

Qualification

- Engineering degree (master or bachelor with international studies) in automotive / electrical / computer / communications engineering or similar

- Basic programming skills

- Valid driver’s license which is at least 2 years old and very good driving capabilities resulting from regular car usage

- Experience with automotive infotainment systems

- Excellent language skills in English (written and oral); German language skills are highly appreciated

- Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing, multi-task environment

- Microsoft Office skills

- Work experience in an international environment, 1-3 years

- Experience in the automotive infotainment field, 1-3 years
