This position is for a global company Dalian Branch. The candidate needs to overlook the overall accounting and financial related issues in Dalian, and reporting to Associate Director based in ShangHai.

Position：
Senior Accountant

Location：Dalian

RESPONSBILITIES
Deliver country / functional accounting services; manage accounting and reporting process effectively; prepare / supervise month end closes and corporate reconciliation schedules; prepare / supervise any tax alculations declarations and annual statutory accounts.
Act as contact person for external audits. Ensure that all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained in preparation for independent audits.
Establish reasonable internal controls and maintain adequate and current documentation of the systems of internal control.
Ensure that all processes and decisions are in line with Quintiles SOPs and local legal / statutory requirements.
Where applicable, act as contact person with tax consultants and tax authorities.
Manage timely completion of detailed account reconciliation and follow-up / resolve open items for specified tasks.
Maintain a solid working knowledge of technical accounting skills.
Participate in or manage Finance related projects as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain one or more Accounting modules (AR/AP/Fixed Asset, General Ledger)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance modules.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Technical accounting skills.
Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience in accounting; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
CICPA will be a plus.
Fluent in both oral and written English.
Working experience in MNCs
Good knowledge in China Accounting and Tax Regulations
