Project Description
Database Design Integration and Production Support for various online banking/finance banking/finance systems.
Job Description
？ To design and implement DB part of integration team projects and L1 support for various online banking / financial systems.
？ Co-ordinate effectively with other technical teams and PMO for various project activities
？ Should be able to adapt CITI standards and implement the same for projects.
？ Should be able to handle DB part of the project independently.
？ Should be able to present effectively the DB design for the internal architecture teams for design approval.
？ Should be able to handle both SQL Server & Oracle projects.

Technical Activities: Day to day basic database administration, User management, space management, backup configuration, database replication, database clustering technologies.

SQL Server Tech Skills:
？ Prefer candidates having exposure to upgrade from SQL Server 2000 to 2005, 2008 or 2012.
？ Working knowledge of high availability like logshipping, replication, mirroring etc.
？ Knowledge on data collector and performance monitor tools in higher version of SQL Server 2008 or 2012.
？ Working knowledge on performance tuning or query tuning.
？ Knowledge on Windows cluster or SQL clustering would be added advantage.
？ SQL Server installation on standalone and cluster environment.
？ Troubleshoot issues related to installation or service pack hot fixes.
？ Should possess good background on backup & recovery (system DB recovery, point in time recovery)
？ Understanding of performance issues.
？ To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
？ Good knowledge in Capacity Planning.
？ Good scripting knowledge.

Oracle Tech Skills:
？ Familiar working with UNIX platforms.
？ Working knowledge in Oracle 8.x, 9.x, 10g & 11g versions.
？ Working knowledge on Oracle backup technologies.
？ Understanding & working knowledge of Oracle Replication technologies.
？ Understanding of Oracle cluster technologies.
？ Good understanding of project management life cycle.
