Job Summary
An ABS People Mobility Tax Specialist is accountable for service delivery of Mobility services in connection with all Accenture personnel going on international assignments on permanent or temporary basis with their relocation needs including the local taxation and other policies. The role involves ensuring mobility services are delivered for the individual, the project management, the Accenture organization, CBF, CFM and HR.
The role will
Provide Mobility services for multiple countries and assignees
Involve direct supervision of a team of People Mobility Senior Analysts and Analysts, located within the same office
Have regular interaction with People Mobility onshore teams, other internal teams and external vendors
An ABS People Mobility Specialist will
Have accountability for managing relationships with People Mobility onshore and ET&I teams
Have accountability to other internal groups for Accenture services
Have accountability of managing vendor relationship and address/escalate service level issues
Participate in, manage or supervise others in 1 to 3 additional projects or initiatives
Ensure compliance with global and country processes and internal control
Key Responsibilities
General
Ensure that team is aware of and adheres to local country tax positions for tax secondment, taxability of standard compensation elements, equity plans, and tax equalization policy.
Manage service delivery of tax processes against SLA
Ensure compliance with Internal control deliverables.
Ensure timely invoicing, collection and payment of tax & equalization settlements.
Address and resolve processing issues raised by assignees or tax service provider during compliance process for each country; escalate/inform onshore teams of any issues that impact service.
Ensure maintenance of RMS Connect Assignment profile tax sections as well as the RMSC Tax Tab for home/host countries supported.
Finance
Ensure standard People Mobility procedures are followed to ensure compliance with Finance policy and internal controls:
All international assignees are marked taxable when they exceed local tax thresholds
TCE is requested or manual accrual processed for all taxable assignees.
Accruals are sent to finance for all taxable prior to month end
Accruals cover the taxable period
E-lists match the taxable and accrued listing
Host country tax accrued is in li & &nbs
