Major Responsibilities

The BI Reporting developer will be responsible for Design & Development of various types of OBIEE reports and components on one or more concurrent development projects.

• Implement RPD metadata in OBIEE and Oracle 10g and 11g:
• Experience and expertise in Linux x86 and software (Informatica Power Center 9.1, OBIEE 11g, Oracle 11g, OBI DAC 10x)
• Maintain the data warehouse execution plan in OBI Data Warehouse Administration Console
• Develop extract, transform, and load routines using Informatica Power Center
• Create batch schedules using Linux shell scripts, windows scripts and BMC Control-M Enterprise Manager
• Implement Oracle 11g database structures and tune database performance in non-production development environment
• Assist in the estimation, planning, and management of work within Fidelity Agile Methodology (FAM)

Work closely with the project manager, product line architect, business analyst, developers, QA testers, and administration groups to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions that are right-sized, and scalable .

Essential Experience and Skills

• 2 – 5 years of Oracle OBIEE 11g experience including:
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts including dimensional modeling
• Advanced knowledge and proven record in consulting and implementing BI Architecture and Business Intelligence tools
• Experience with user interface design and working under guidance from on shore team leads
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, both with customers, technical team members, and other contributors across the organization
• Must be an organized, self-starter with a collaborative work style, customer service focus, and ability to multitask

Desirable skills

• Experience in IBM Cognos is an advantage
• Experience in .NET, HTML and Java based front end development
• Previous experience as a technology professional in a distributed technology product team would be beneficial, for example having worked on Global Projects
• Understanding of Compliance/Security Function business domains is helpful but not required

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Position requires an undergraduate degree/ Master's degree (MS or MBA) is preferred.
