Network Engineer / Specialist (SRX)

Job Responsibilities:

• Interface with international customers.
• Provide remote Technical support on implementation of technology using various networking products & applications and resolve product related issues through research and troubleshooting.
• To troubleshoot every case (including backlog) assigned and drive towards positive resolution thereby to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Debugging hardware & software system level problems in a multi-vendor multi-protocol network environment.
• Evaluate the scope for timely escalation and ensure that customer problems are addressed as per the priority.
• Document all communication with the customer.

Primary Skills:

• fluent in Japanese.
• Strong knowledge in IP service, Access Control, TCP/IP, networking concepts.
• Requires TCP/IP protocol knowledge, routing protocol experience and strong transferable skills in other networking disciplines.
• Requires knowledge and expertise in the following routing protocols: IPSec, OSPF, BGP, multicast, PPP, PPPoE, L2TP, LDP, RSVP.
• Requires knowledge or experience in supporting security devices such as stateful firewall, secure access devices or acceleration devices

Essentials:

• 3-6 years of relevant experience from an enterprise support background.
• Should have experience in configuration and troubleshooting high-end networks
• The ideal candidate will be an Engineer, who is a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Quality focus, result & goal orientation in a group situation and commitment to customer delight are a must.
• Sound fundamentals and in-depth knowledge of Networking Concepts.
• Should be flexible to work in international time zones.

Network Engineer / Specialist (Routing & Switching, MPLS)

Job Responsibilities:

• To troubleshoot every case (including backlog) assigned and drive towards positive resolution thereby to achieve customer satisfaction.

Primary Skill:

？ fluent in Japanese.
？ Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP).
？ Bridging and switching concepts, LAN technologies such as Ethernet-CSMA/CD.
？ STP - IEEE 802.1d/ IEEE 802.1w, IEEE 802.1s
？ VLANS, Tagging - IEEE 802.1q, 802.3ad
？ IP addressing and sub netting, Routing concepts, VLSM/CIDR.
？ Working knowledge with routing protocols - RIP V1/V2, OSPF
？ IS-IS, HSRP, VRRP, MPLS, RSVP, LDP
？ Excellent Communication Skills

·Certification such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE will be added value.
