As a Data Specialist, you'll work in a collaborative team environment to deliver database designs, information models (logical, physical, dimensional, etc.) data migration plans and data warehouses. Get access to resources that only a global leader like IBM can provide.
In this position you will primarily apply your technical skills in an internal or external customer billable services and implementation environment.
1. Experience and proficiency in IBM's DataStage ETL tool.
2. Good understanding of ETL design principles.
3. Good understanding of source-to-mapping logic.
4. Experience writing and executing SQL scripts
5. Experience with databases such as DB2, Oracle, and/or Teradata
6. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
7. Strong aptitude for troubleshooting technical issues.
8. Understands the concepts related to data warehousing, enterprise software integration and business intelligence.
9. Experience with test case development, and ETL test support.
10. Experience with test cases and supporting the testing of ETL code.
11. Experience in consulting/customer facing responsibilities.
12. Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor junior practitioners.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to become a trusted technical advisor to the customer
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Required

? At least 3 years experience in ETL Datastage
? English: Fluent
