Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate solution architect to work with one of
our fortune 500 clients.

The successful candidate will be based in our client's China head office in a premium
location in Shanghai.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a multi-cultural, corporate
environment as a team player to provide and influence the technology directions.

Responsibilities

· Work with business analysts, business users to understand the overall business
environment and key challenges.
· Represent the needs of the local team to the corporate global architecture
community and contribute to the development of the Enterprise Information
Systems Architecture.
· Consult with project teams on the application of standard Information
Architecture.
· Conduct architecture reviews to ensure the right design principles are followed.
· Liaising with architecture teams and subject matter experts from other regions.
· Define architecture direction and roadmap (including mobility technologies).

Requirements

· Degree (or above) in Computer Science or equivalent.
· 6+ years software developing experience with 3+ years working as architect
· Solid understanding of the following technologies (.NET, XML, Web Services,
Single Sign-On, Mobile technologies) and databases (Oracle, MS SQL).
· Understand Enterprise Architecture principles and preferably knowledge/certified
with TOGAF.
· Exemplary communication skills in both Mandarin and English
· Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priority projects.
· Ability to negotiate and influence.
· Broad knowledge of IT.
· Must be a strong, articulate communicator.
· Pharmaceutical experience will be a plus.
