Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Manager will focus on account management and is responsible for overseeing the management of B2B SMB and/or Enterprise Accounts. Serves an assigned territory/client, you will device and develop processes to ensure favourable relationships with clients, meeting the sales and operational needs. In this role, you will be managing the client’s customers end-to-end sales lifecycle, by renewing, expanding, and converting the service relationships our clients have with their existing customer base.
As part of our organization’s growth, this is a permanent position based in Dalian office ( 大连市沙河口区)where you will be the trusted advisor to the clients, call upon existing client customers to assess areas of opportunity, review current service contracts, identify pain points, execute portfolio, and budget planning, and offer comprehensive solutions when applicable.
Successful candidates are independent and results-driven individuals that are excited to drive success through persuasion process and explore various sales channels to improve sales performance. You would be comfortable in managing ambiguity situation and manage complex, deep relationships to help the customer to uncover some challenges while setting in place new processes and workflows. Responsibilities:
*Ensure that client's customers are satisfied with our client's services and resolve escalated issues.
*Achieve revenue-based quotas based on successful management of client accounts and supporting processes to meet operational needs and growth goals.
*Evaluate our client's customer needs and propose potential solutions.
Service as a single point of contact for our client's customer.
*Use data to remediate customer concerns/roadblocks prohibiting performance satisfaction.
*Manage external competitive pressures and handle objections.
*Work with multiple partners, building relationships with decision-makers at all levels.
*Manage sales territory and achieve monthly quotas.
*Negotiate in tough situations, help influence buying/renewal process using business analytics data.
*Identify risk and barriers to success; develop contingency plans.
*Identify opportunities for additional product or service sales.
Competencies
*Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
*5 years of account management/ consultative-based sales experience managing Enterprise portfolio.
*Candidates with excellent command of Japanese (N1/N2) and English language, cultural nuisance are encouraged to apply for this role as it requires business language liaison with each territory. Based in Dalian office, you will provide renewal selling services or solutions to a dedicated territory in Japan.
*Experience with high-volume calling with proven track record of sales or account management in IT industry.
*Experience with customer experience and sales, able to listen and respond to consumer needs, effectively communicate features and benefits of highly innovative products to customers.
*Enthusiasm for new technology, demonstrate ability to extract hidden or unrealized requirements and gain consensus on these requirements with the customer.
*Aptitude to learn and optimize new technology with prior experience in utilizing Client Relationship Management tool, i.e. Salesforce, SAP etc.
*Advanced problem solving and analytical skill, demonstrate ability to multi-task and make timely and sound decisions under conditions of uncertainty or limited data.
*Agility to manage ambiguous and complex situations, while maintaining good rapport with customers.
