Brief Job Profile Description:
The Decision Support CoE Finance Analyst is responsible for undertaking data
validation and finance management/Cost of Sales reporting and analysis in order
to support Finance colleagues. ？In particular, the DS CoE Finance Analyst is
responsible for conducting the following key activities
* Management/Cost of Sales Reporting and Financial Reporting analytics
* Report consolidation and submission
* Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
* Presentation development and preparation
Primary Responsibilities:
Operations:
* Coordinate the completion of all standard and ad hoc Finance requests
within the DS CoE agreed upon scope and Standard Operating Procedures for a
given business unit, site or market
* Develop, track and report on DS CoE Key Performance Indicators
* Preparation and validation of complex financial analysis and other
reporting activities including the prioritization and execution of ad–hoc
reporting requests
Customer Relationships:
* Serve as key point of contact for Regional Finance Managers and other
Pfizer stakeholders to field requests and make sure that finance needs are met,
risks/issues are resolved, and quality of output is consistently delivered in
accordance with service level expectations
* Maintain a general knowledge of business unit-specific trends and past
performance as well as key drivers
Additional Responsibilities:
* Participate on teams responsible for the integration/separation of domestic
acquisitions/divestitures.
* Prepare written preliminary commentary on reports and analysis.
* Understand and apply knowledge of the systems landscape, particularly
sources of information necessary for the completion of management/Cost of Sales
reporting and analysis requests.
* Understand and apply knowledge of best practices for data extraction and
manipulation
Technical Skills & Experience Requirements:
* Highly analytical with the ability to translate large amounts of data and
information into actionable insights and businessrecommendations.
* Process-oriented with strong organization and planning skills
* Ability to identify business issues/opportunities and to frame business
questions
* Knowledge of various financial systems and financial reporting aspects
* Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and
Word
* Competency with spreadsheets & financial modeling(comfort with data
manipulation and financial systems), particularly with Microsoft Excel and
Hyperion Smartview
* Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles(GAAP) and
International Financial Reporting Standards(IFRS)
Qualifications
* Bachelors required, MBA/Masters Finance/Accounting is preferred.
* 2+years’ experience, ideally in a finance and/or Decision Support role,
responsible for reporting, analysis, planning, budgeting and forecasting
* Good English and Japanese verbal/written communication skills
* Cost of Sales working experience towards a plus
* Possesses a positive, growth mindset.？？
