Job Title: Transitions & Solutions Manager - Accounting

Location: Dalian


Job Summary:

The GSS Dalian Transition Manager will have support responsibility for transition of work on behalf of GSS Dalian. In this role, the TM will have dual reporting the GSS Dalian COO and the GSS-CBS Global Transition Leader and will work closely with the GSS-CBS Process Leaders and GSS customers/potential customers in enabling transitions into the GSS Dalian center.


He/she should have a global perspective, including proven experience leading virtual teams for large multi- year, multi-country deployment programs, plus an ability to work within a matrix management structure.


Essential Functions of the Job:


? Support GSS Dalian’s growth- work with GSS-CBS Transitions Leader to find opportunities to move service to GSS Dalian

? Be responsible for the program management of selected transitions (or segments thereof) from the point the work is identified to the point it is hand over to GSS Dalian

? Assist GSS-CBS Global Transition Leader in designing and updating transition methodology and supporting tools.

? Support the development and execution of change management plans and efforts for countries from where work is being transitioned into the GSS Dalian center.

? Continue to work with customer representatives as processes stabilize and become business as usual, post the transition project.

? Track and report on milestones for Dalian project transitions (including budgets) and on consequences of the transition against original business case

? As needed, work closely with GSS Dalian operations managers to ensure the smoothly transfer from transition to operations, and be jointly responsible for the operations KPI in the 1st 3 months after go-live.

? Effectively support the GSS-CBS Global Transition Leader and members of his team in overall management of all allocated transition work, developing appropriate reports for communicating to various stakeholders (within/outside GSS-CBS).


Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:


? Consider, escalate and resolve issues which arise as part of planning and executing transitions including, but not limited to IT requirements, training and skills or knowledge transfer, cost of transition, local country change management issues, risk management, etc.

? Contribute to the design and the development of transition methodology, supporting tools and processes. This is includes determining the appropriate program structure for each transition.

? As required, work closely with Global, Dalian Global Services and other GSS resources, to support the delivery of transition projects and meet the GSS Dalian center objectives and policies.



Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

? An ability to manage workload, with minimal direction, a self starter with a strong sense of initiative;

? Proven expertise in process re-design or re-engineering;

? A proven ability to work within a global perspective, to work virtually within global established norms, and can understand and implement global strategies across multiple locations;

? Strong project and program management skills;

? Strong proven client management skills, with the ability to facilitate and influence stakeholders from various disciplines and a different levels of seniority across the organization;

? Proven report writing skills – both verbal and written communication;

? Strong presentation skills;

? Financially literate with good analytical and problem solving skills;

? The ability to handle ambiguity and operate in a self-directed manner;

? Strong interpersonal skills including evidence to show can act as a strong team player working with all levels of the organization;

? A proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and effectively;

? A strong understanding of corporate financial and HR systems, and an ability to work with other internal functional teams (IT, Finance, Human Resources, Facilities, Legal, etc) is a plus


Supervision Responsibilities:


? This role has no direct reports, but would be expected to lead others in project teams (both virtual and face to face).


Job Requirements:

Education:

? Bachelor Degree

? At least 5 years experience in transitions and solutions in BPO industry, Finance and accounting transition experience is a plus

? At least 3 years Finance and Accounting BPO Operations management experience

? The ability to demonstrate a global perspective;

? Involved in designing and conducting training programs is a plus

? Experience in quality management is a plus such as Six Sigma

? Was born in 1975-1978 will be great
