职位描述
Objective of job role:
Responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations of the billing function within the shared services environment.
Effective management of the billing analyst and management of the outlined processes associated with the billing function.
Functions reporting to this job role (KPIs, functional responsibilities, etc.)
Main tasks/important responsibilities:
Accounting and Finance Activities
Oversee all billing activities completed within the function and ensure accuracy of activities
Oversee urgent billing requests from the business
Review established workflow and identify areas for improvement
Help to prepare reports generated outside the billing function
Review escalated billing issues and resolve in a timely manner
Drive performance initiatives to increase accuracy and efficiency within the function
Develop, suggest, and implement new procedures to ensure efficiency and effective operation of processing of case resolutions
Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the billing function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine
Coordinate team meetings
Ensure compliance with JCI accounting policies, procedures and processes
Support the timely reporting of key financial information, monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators ("KPIs") and Service Level Agreements ("SLAs")
Ensure that process change directives and other changes initiated by global are implemented regionally
Follows best practices while working with internal and external customers to exceed customer satisfaction and shares best practices with internal teams to improve quality and efficiency of service
Proactively monitor and operate a robust SOX and internal control environment
Prompt response to all information reques
People & HR Activities:
Excellent knowledge about accounting policies and processes, specifically billing support
Ability to work independently, a self-starter, proactive in taking initiative for improvements
Affinity with accounting and financial administrative processes and computer systems
Demonstrated analytical skills, specifically accounting and financial analytics
Able to handle deadlines and maintain accuracy of reporting activities
Strong managerial skills of people and workflow, capable of oversight in a complex work environment
Ensure smooth daily operations of the team by providing support to team members and leadership
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Dedicated and flexible mindset, with a problem-solving focus
Support a climate of cooperation, energy, and accountability
Requirements:
Education (technical and/or commercial)
Professional accountancy Qualification such as, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA recommended
A four-year degree in accounting or finance required
Job experience
3 - 5 years experience working in finance or accounting, with experience managing a small staff of accounting technicians
Knowledge, insight, and experience in financial administrative accounting processes
Proven ability to work independently with good analytical and problem solving skills around accounting analytics and processes
Ability to handle high volume account portfolio in an organized manner while staying focused on priorities and remaining professional
Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, strong interpersonal skills, analytical, change management and communication skills
Professional knowledge: in detail when specialist function
MS-Office, Oracle, Collection Tool (Oracle Advance Collection preferred), or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or J.D. Edwards
Fluent in English
