A. PRIMARY PURPOSE (Why does this job exists)

• support the HR department in deploying, using, customizing and maintaining HR technology

B. PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Starting with and primary focus on PeopleSoft HR, setup, maintain, deploy & customize HR technology for the entire region and business group. Focus on PeopleSoft HR includes but is not limited to analyzing functional requirements of the HR departments. Coordinates HRIS application programming for group requirements.
• Supports HRIS group manager, being the liaison with Group IT and Corporate HRIS as a key contact for HR technology. Participates in developing business unit-wide HRIS enhancements.
• Drives and implements group specific setup and configuration of HR systems
• Responsible for the administration of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for the HR modules for the group.
• Leads small to medium sized HRIS projects. Develops related project work plans. Monitors progress and ensures that project goals and timelines are met
• Provides customer support for field organization use of HRIS. Coordinates help desk support of group HR applications.
• Coordinates data integrity. Develops data audits.
• Trains users on system operations, including preparation of user manuals, training manuals and procedures.
• Trains local HR and HRIS Administrator(s) on use of HRIT systems.
• Works with Corporate HRIS staff to run reports for government compliance.
• Designs and generates special request reports and maintains group standardized reports.
• Troubleshoots problems and interfaces with IT to resolve problems and implement changes.
• Develops and delivers process improvement on all HRIS processes and responsibilities.

C. Education, Technical Skills, knowledge and experience

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business, or Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1 - 3 years of Human Resources or HRIS experience
• 1- 2 years of PeopleSoft applications experience, preferably PeopleSoft HR
