职位描述
A. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide server and network support for dispatched cases from HP Service Desk.
2. To install, support and trouble shoot all supported software applications on JC desktop Images and on supported hardware.
3. Handle provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts and IT assets.
4. Handle new computer installation and setup and computer refreshment.
5. ystem administration and management of servers and local site OU of Active Directory
6. Manage backup and restoration operation to ensure data protection control in place.
7. Manage the shared folders access
8. Work with GI and vendors for the system change of network equipments and server-side hardware/software.
9. Working with GI, BE Global, and/or vendors to execute Technology Services project rollouts.
10. Maintenance and support of LAN and cabling/patching
11. Coordinate with vendors to maintain the environmental security control of server room facilities.
12. o demonstrate a commitment to high level customer service at all times.
13. Lead and ensure IT projects complete as scheduled
14. Provide information and technical consultancy for management when requested
15. Provide guidance and assistance to the junior IT staff to achieve their job objectives
16. Undertake other ad hoc duties, at any location, as requested.
B. DUTIES:
1. Provide light on support for dispatched cases from HP Service Desk which includes:
a. On-site user support.
b. Troubleshooting and installation of standard applications, software and systems.
c. Provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts and IT assets.
d. Installation, setup and redeployment of computers.
2. Work with GI, BE Global and /or external parties to execute Technology Services project rollouts.
3. Provide server and network support for dispatched cases from HP Service Desk.
4. System administration and server management including patching, system health check, server installation, troubleshooting, support and maintenance.
1. Administration of user groups, logon script and computer objects under local site OU of Active Directory.
2. Manage backup and restoration operation, handle backup tape storage and delivery and perform regular restoration tests.
3. Manage and control of shared folders access
4. Work with Global IT team and vendors to handle system change for network equipments, server side hardware/software.
5. Coordinate with vendor to maintain and support of LAN and cabling/patching
6. Execution of assigned IT projects and tasks in a professional manner.
7. Coordinate with vendor to manage and maintain the environment security control of server room facilities.
8. Undertake other ad hoc duties as requested.
C. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
1. Successfully complete the dispatched cases from HP Service Desk to deliver resolution in agreed service level.
2. Successfully manage the production servers in compliance with IT security control.
3. nsure effective backup and restoration operation for data protection.
4. Successfully execute Technology Services project rollouts on schedule to meet the requirements.
D. RELATIONSHIPS:
INTERNAL
1. Report functionally to Manager, Technology Services, Asia
2. Report operationally to senior management on-site
3. Work with GI, GITP, other BE Asia IT functional workstreams (Application Support team,etc), Business
EXTERNAL
1. Deal with Service Provider (e.g. Verizon, HP, etc.)
E. REQUIREMENT PROFILE (QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED):
?Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
?At least 3 years' relevant experience preferred, experience in sizable company is definitely an advantage
?Technical proficiency in Windows XP, Win7, Microsoft Office 2007, Lotus Notes & Blackberry. Windows Server 2003/2008, Active Directory, System Backup & Recovery and networking.
?Hands on experience in LAN (Cisco), WLAN, and WAN
?Good command in speaking and written English and Mandarin
?Good communication & interpersonal skills
?Self-motivated, analytical-minded, able to work independently and under pressure
