A. PRIMARY PURPOSE

• Support CFS Manager and responsible for the statutory compliance processes for DBC.
• Support CFS Manager in working with PWC in statutory compliance processes for different BU (ie. AE, BE, and PS) entities migrated to DBC.
• Support CFS Manager in providing consulting advice / support to BUs in special projects such as M&A, due diligence, legal entity restructuring, tax planning projects etc.
• Support CFS Manager in CFS rollout assessment in different BU entities in China and rest of Asia.
  
  
  

B. PRIMARY DUTIES

• Coordinate / prepare / assist preparation of financial and tax schedules for statutory audit compliance of BU entities under his / her responsibilities.
• Support the year end statutory audit, prepare audit binders and reconciliations and reports at legal entity level according local GAAP regulations.
• Prepare Statutory Financial Statements. Prepare USGAAP vs local GAAP reconciliations.
• Reconcile end-of-month accounts as per SOX responsibility matrix.
• Support plant, shared services centers and central functions regarding accounting/financial issues.
• Communicate and interface with business personnel on accounting issues.
• Interface to external and internal auditors, consultants etc.
• Participate in CFS rollout assessment in BU entities in China and rest of Asia. Identify any issues and co-ordinate with BU to develop action plan to remediate the issues identified.
  

C. EDUCATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent education and experience
• Min 3-5 years external auditing / accounting experience in multinational companies, Having Big 4 audit working experience is a plus.
• CPA/ACCA or progress toward certification
• Thorough knowledge of accounting theory and its application in practice
• Proven ability to prepare account analyses and reconcile accounts
• Computer competency (SAP, Mfg Pro) in the client-server environment using a wide range of application software
• Excellent communication skills and customer focused approach, Fluent in oral and written English.
• Familiarity with problem solving and process improvement techniques
• Ability to manage projects and see them through to implementation
• Ability to work well independently and work well in a team setting
