Purpose of your role

To handle operational tasks such as new client account opening, account maintenance or other operational processes etc for our clients mainly within Asia-pacific regions and to ensure compliance of regulatory requirements of local countries and our internal Anti-Money Laundering procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities

· Handle new clients onboarding set up and maintenance based on customer instruction and company policies or procedures, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Korea across APAC regions

· Set up and maintenance Ongoing commissions and Initial Commissions/Charges

· Handle enquiries from business per service level

· Complete all the customer requests and tasks assigned within the required timeframe

· Follow up on outstanding issues and problems and escalate when appropriate

· Ensure daily workflow are complied with Legal, Risk, Compliance policy and local regulatory requirements

· Ensure all Anti-Money Laundering and Gatekeeper rules are being followed and procedures are being updated accordingly

· Ongoing liaison with other departments in Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan to ensure a smooth workflow and all daily tasks are performed timely and accurately

· Working hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Monday to Friday)

· May need to work extra hours based on operational requirements

· May need to work on public holidays

· Any other tasks assigned by your line manager

Experience and Qualifications Required

· Bachelor or higher degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting, but not limited to)

· Fluent in Japanese and English

· Good team player

· Strong analytical skills, good logical thinking, problem-solving ability (including the ability to understand complex issues, manage and resolve complex operational issues) with proven business analysis and project co-ordination experience

· Self-motivation is essential, should demonstrate commitment to high quality design and development, results driven, and independent

· Good communication skills, ability to develop & maintain working relationships with a number of stakeholders

· Good time management ability
