What you will do

Our Cash Collections team work to maximize the timely collection of cash from our customers around the globe, through the effective management of enquiries made and received by telephone. We work to keep our aged debt to a minimum through timely action of outstanding debt.

As a Senior Finance Manager of the Collections area (Accounts Receivable), you will manage activities of a large collections department (90+ employees) divided in smaller teams covering different processes within one region. The ideal candidate has solid experience in the Collections area in big size organizations and the ability to lead and relate to bigger teams.

How you will do it

• Achieving FY Profit Plan financial targets and ensuring the timely reporting of key financial information

• Ensuring ethical and accounting principle compliance

• Ensuring that external partners (e.g. PWC) and regional partners receive accurate and on-time information

• Setting-up of Team Structure to support above

• Managing, motivating and developing Team Members

• Taking actions in order to achieve positive GES score in all dimensions esp. EE and LE

• Providing robust SP and fit talent to finance organization

• Driving Customer Satisfaction

• Guiding the JC-Organization on improving profitability via CI initiatives and/or process cost optimization

• Taking full responsibility for the timely and accurate (program) reporting of financial results

• Ensuring complete, accurate and timely processing of daily transactional volume

• Monitoring the performance and quality of the collections activities performed by the collections teams based on agreed measurable (KPI′s) plus initiate timely reaction to any missed KPI targets

What we look for

• University degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/Accounting

• Minimum 8 years experience in Finance department and 2 years experience with leading and developing people

• Strong process knowledge in Collections / Account Receivable area

• Fluent in English, strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills and ability to interpret data to various levels

• SAP knowledge/Oracle & HFM experience

• FIA Diploma, Dipl. IFRS, ACCA/CIMA in progress or equivalent knowledge required

• Excellent customer service, organizational, communication, and follow-up skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced team environment while meeting deadlines

• Analytical skills, Ability to interpret the data and drive improvements, make recommendations for process changes

• Willing to develop and learn, Collaborative, Team player, Customer and result oriented, Proactive attitude, Flexibility,

• Plan, think and make decisions in strategic context

• Participation in transition or special projects,

• Ability to deliver results in and dynamic environment with competing priorities
