JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead the Regional Transition function for a key business transformation program that supports the overall business strategy of improving current business models, structures and processes.

Manage a team of transition specialists, ensuring that the function is adequately staffed and prepared to complete transition activities within the defined and agreed upon timing and procedures.

Develop a concrete transition plan, oversee the progress of the transition (including regular reporting of progress and continually monitor the transition plan for the region.

Manage the regional business plan and monitor progress against the plan including cost monitoring and other key items.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the Transition Function for a key business transformation program in line with the overall and financial PMO/ Business Integration targets: e.g. field realignment, enabling processes & infrastructure, finance transformation, indirect spend (SG&A savings and control).

Partner with Global PMO to align regional plan to global initiatives including, but not limited to business case, process improvement, IT transformation, HR / Communication items and other activities that directly impact the transition

Plan and manage transition of activities performed in the region to migrate key country activities into centralized locations

Ensure successful transition of key business activities to the ultimate process owner within the centralized location with a key focus on ensuring that business activities are not negatively impacted throughout the transition period

Take ownership of key business activities / items throughout the transition (i.e. General Ledger)

Set regional strategy for alignment of regional processes with global processes and highlight areas of process gap and areas of potential process risk

Develop transition controls at a regional level to ensure that transitions are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Controls include transition preparation checklists, regional control point mapping and contingency plans.

Communicate actual status of the business transformation program to key regional leadership and steering committee

Work with communication, training, HR and global process owners in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support project implementation

Design, in cooperation with Global PMO, and drive deployment of right structures and processes that will support effective and efficient business transformation/ integration

Serve as key liaison between country management, BU management, Support departments at Regional HQ (i.e. HR, Communications, IT) to support the alignment of local and regional business requirements with overall Global strategies

As needed, may provide post go-live implementation support to entities through financial result reviews with local management teams to facilitate the understanding of reporting and process changes related to implementation.

Through implementation support, identify and leverage opportunities to share best practice related to business transformation processes and procedures

Provide prompt response to all information requests


REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION):

BA/ MBA degree in economics graduated in business administration/ management especially accounting, finance, controlling

LANGUAGES:

Fluent in English and preferred to have other select regional languages

EXPERIENCES:

8+ years of relevant experience (setup, planning and management of a multinational function / corporation)

OTHERS:

Professional accountancy Qualification or HR certifications

(SHRM) is preferred

Shared Service Center operation management experience a must

Experience of process consolidation into an SSC environment a plus

Microsoft Office, SAP, Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience, ERP implementation and process mapping experience (iScala, SAP, Oracle)
