职位描述
JOB DESCRIPTION
The GBS SCM Manager, reporting directly to the GBS SCM Director, oversee the shared service SCM function including timely react on request from internal / external customers and actively communicate with them and preparation of month end closing activities within the defined GBS Supply Chain scope.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Determine key supply chain KPIs
React on request from internal / external customers and actively communicate.
Suggest solutions for process improvements
Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
Diagram supply chain models to help facilitate discussions with customers
Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials
Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders
Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify or qualify new suppliers
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION):
University degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/ Supply Chain Management.
LANGUAGES:
Able to read, write and communicate fluently in Japanese.
EXPERIENCES:
8+ years experience in the SCM Department
Min 6 years of experience with leading people and developing people
OTHERS:
Strong process knowledge in relevant area
Strong SMC Management / reporting overview
Management Supply Chain certification or equivalent knowledge require
Ability to build trust & maintain confidentiality is critical
MS-Office (MS Excel – advanced – tables, charts, formulas, pivot tables, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint), ERP experience is a must (IFS,BPCS, IFS Radley, SAP), Intermediate to advanced experience (beyond basic data entry)
Strong process knowledge in relevant area
Analytical skills, Ability to interpret the data and drive improvements, make recommendations for process changes
Willing to develop and learn, Collaborative, Team player,
Strong Communication and presentation skills and ability to interpret data to various levels
Customer and result oriented,
Proactive attitude, Flexibility
OTHER INFORMATION & SPECIFIC SKILLS
Ensure ethical and accounting principle compliance
Development of people, regular team meetings at least bimonthly and 1 to 1 reviews preferable monthly
Ensures team follows up all policies and procedures
Ensure smooth daily operations by proper allocation of transactional volume to the team/ avoid workload allocation issues or improper allocation leading to inefficiencies of some and overload of other employees.
Mentoring and positive attitude to work, proactively sharing knowledge with less experienced team members to support their development
