职位描述：
SUMMARY: Under general supervision, support sourcing projects, engineering activities through valve design, configuration, testing, working with vendors and troubleshooting. Provide support and development on custom products for Sales and assist in Research & Development projects.
总则：在上级经理指导下，能开展以下工作：支持供应商开发项目或技术相关的阀门设计、型式确认和测试工作，并能协同供应商解决产品问题；为销售提供技术支持，开发客户定制及非标准产品，协助新产品开发项目的相关任务。

ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES:
主要工作职责
1.Under limited supervision design and develop new products according to the New Product Development process which will typically include, input for project planning, 3D concept modelling; detailed design; detailed drawings and models; product cost estimates, prototype development and test.
根据新产品开发流程，能独立完成新产品开发过程中的涉及的新产品开发计划输入，3D建模，创建二维工程图纸，产品成本分析以及产品小样试样和测试工作。

2.Produce accurate layouts and detail drawings/solid models, following all internal procedures, to AMOT and relevant British and international standards.
根据公司内部标准或者相关国际标准，提供准确的工程模型和图纸工作

3.Liaise with Purchasing / Manufacturing departments to ensure that the best possible costs are leveraged for prototype and production parts, and that all parts are fit for purpose.
与采购部门和生产部门保持沟通，以确保所有试样和量产部件成本处于最合理状态，不产生产生过度设计部件

4.Plan and track product development efforts. Provide additional support for models, design drawings and BOM as needed. Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
能独立完成产品研发计划与跟踪，能提供模型设计，图纸和物料清单等，能独立处理产品工程更改需求。

5.Perform product support functions for both internal and external customers. Maintain customer and vendor communications and update technical documenct.

6.Ensure that all testing required to demonstrate that the new product meets specification is performed and appropriately documented. Participate in, or manage any testing, either internal or external, as required, to ensure that all relevant tests are performed correctly and all resulting data is accurately recorded.
参与、监督与新产品开发相关的内部和外部测试工作，确保新产品符合技术规范，完成测试文档的编辑工作。确保所有的事实都按照要求严格执行、数据真实可靠

7.To write, or manage external services to write, manuals or instruction sheets for products to include procedures, limitations of use, maintenance, spares, warnings, overviews and any other relevant or necessary information.
能够编写、监督与内部或者外协产品相关技术文档，如操作手册、作业指导书，内容涉及程序、使用限制、维护保养、备品备件、危险警告以及总则等。

8.Follow all defined internal quality procedures, and internal design standards. Ensure that designed products comply with all compulsory standards applicable to the product and country of sale.

9.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

10.Respond to change productively and handle any other assigned duties as required.

1.Working knowledge of common drafting standards and procedures Knowledge of US and EU product design and certification standards 2D draughting, 3D solid modelling, using AutoCAD/Inventor or similar Working knowledge of MS Office, (Project, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Internet Explorer).

Ability to perform engineering calculations using mathematical and software tools.

Education Minimum Requirements/Equivalent:

Bachelor Degree. in Mechanical Engineering and master would be a plus. Minimum of 4 years relevant previous design experience required.
