职位描述：
Voestalpine Shenyang plant produces components for BMW and Daimler assembly facilities, utilizing primarily progressive dies. Your primary responsibility for the Stamping Tool Specialist will be to provide technical support to the Stamping Tool room.

?Work and collaborate with tool room supervisor, toolmakers, production group, and all other functional groups within the facility to improve tool performance and part quality

?Effectively communicate to those on all levels of the organization

?Estimate costs associated with tooling repair or replacement

?Support inventory management of all components associated with stamping tools

?Collaborate with external tool shops to quote and build tooling components

?Collaborate with the Core Technologies group through all phases of new tool builds including, but not limited to: Design concepts, recommendation of common tooling components, tool build, sampling, qualification, and establishment of spare tooling components.

?Execute projects in a timely manner, resolving or escalating barriers as needed

?Analyze and identify improvement opportunities to extend tool life, improve efficiency or part quality, reduce scrap, and make tooling more operator and toolmaker friendly

?Create preventative maintenance plans and schedules to maintain tooling integrity

?Support lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives within the organization

?Collaborate with other tooling specialists and provide mentoring to improve the proficiency of tooling personnel.

?Collaborate with corporate tooling team to set strategy & execution of new tools and changes to existing tools

Qualifications
资格

This job might be for you if:
? Education level for position: High School Diploma or equivalent
? Experience: up to 5 years in progressive stamping environment, new tooling design and tooling maintenance operations
Preferred:
? Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Tooling preferred
? Lean Manufacturing experience
