With the fast development of the company's operation in Globally and high expectation on the market in China, they are seeking a strong Procurement Manager to join their China Management team to start from scratch.


Description

With the fast development of the company's operation in Globally and high expectations in the market, they are seeking a strong Purchasing Manager to join their Operation leadership team. The Purchasing Manager will be leading the procurement organization in China with the following responsibilities:

ØWork closely with Global Procurement to drive Procurement Strategy and P2P initiatives by aligning with Global COE

ØEstablishing an effective central procurement service for China

ØEnsuring that legislative requirements are understood and incorporated into controls, policies and procedures

ØIntegration of all new companies acquired into purchasing network

ØMonthly/weekly reporting to group standards

ØPurchasing Database rollout support

Profile

The ideal candidate profile that would be very successful in this position is listed as follows:

ØSuccessful experience with multi-site international organizations

ØProficient in Chinese and English, any additional language is a plus

ØResults oriented: Proven track record of exceeding targets

ØDrive: ability to develop and execute plans

ØProven track record of past promotions

ØSelf-Starter and ability to work autonomously

ØChange agent: Questions the status-quo, always find better ways, initiate change

ØAdaptability, Ability to work under a dynamic, entrepreneur environment

Ø5-8 years max of enterprise level experience in procurement
