7. Major Responsibilities
A. Product Management - 40% of time
? Assist product strategy and planning for assigned product throughout the product life cycle
? Product life cycle management, including range extension, supersession and termination
? Implement product ranging policy, lead NPI process and co-ordinate PPAP process
? Track and enhance NPI sales efficiency
? Define product specification, including packaging, label, appearance, inserts
? Monitor customer requirements and competitor moves
? Benchmark range, quality and marketing activities
? Assist projects on continuously improving on branding, quality, ranging
B. Marketing and communication - 40% of time
? Communicate with BU across Asia Pacific to support sales growth
? Communicate with Product Service team to improve product portfolio and TRW coverage
? Develop marketing communication tools, including product training materials, leaflets, poster, demo-kits
? Deliver training to channel marketing team on product features, benefits and advantages compared with TRW competitors
C. Sourcing and supplier management - 10% of time
? Assist and implement sourcing strategy for assigned products
? Set up and maintain commercial parameters with suppliers, including contract management, prices, payment terms, warranty, rebate, lead-time, MOQ, product development and other services
? Evaluate and confirm supplier capacities in line with TRW Operation Plan (OP)
? Drive NPI development on schedule and co-ordinate PPAP process
? Purchase information maintenance in systems (BPCS, VIN, SCM)
? Supplier negotiation and cost management
D. Project management on cross function or region - 10% of time
? Evaluate and set up project
? Track and manage project to achieve objectives
8. Key Performance Measures
? Responsible for market share, revenue and margin for assigned products
? Responsible for product range coverage and NPI sales efficiency
? Communicate with all internal functions, lead projects to support business growth
? Develop marketing communication tools and marketing support
? Manage the supplier relationships for the assigned products
? Manage the internal database for the assigned products
9. Education & Qualifications
Essential: Bachelor degree
Desirable: Major in auto industry related or marketing
10. Key Skills
? Proactive and result-Oriented
? Fast learning and able to work under pressure
? Strong computer skills in MS Office and data analysis skills
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Fluent written and spoken English
11. Experience
? Minimum 3 years’ experience in product management
? Experience of Product Life Cycle (PLC) Management preferred
? Experience of marketing communication preferred
? Knowledge of automotive aftermarket products preferred
? General knowledge of TRW aftermarket product lines & Automotive industry is a plus
