Job description
The GB-General Business Sector was created to establish a dedicated focus on the fast growing business marketplace. General Business territories cover a mix of SMB clients as well as a growing number of large-enterprise accounts. In past several years, GBS GB Sector has a significant footprint of business transformation consulting for fast growing clients and is now the largest and fastest growing industry sector in China GBS.
The goal for GB sector team is to establish deeper C-level relationships, increase industry specialization among our territories and, ultimately improve our ability to deliver the full IBM value proposition. General Business focuses on meeting the unique needs of both mid-market and enterprise clients and, ultimately, driving profitable growth for IBM GBS.
We are seeking to achieve further penetration and growth through Geographical Expansion strategy, which will increase focus on fast growing and whitespace business regions like JiangSu and Anhui. Responsibilities:
- Take a lead in generating business demand, qualifying opportunities and driving service business growth in emerging business regions through working closely with IBM client rep. team, different BUs and eco-system.
- Collaborate with solution teams on identifying client business issues and requirements, formulating solutions, Writing proposal, and negotiating service contract.
- Independently drive solution selling process and closing service business opportunities, taking full accountability on account business development
- Lead project and solution delivery. Facilitate project success to meet customer satisfaction and IBM profitability targets.
Required Skills:
- Strong personal skills in communications, negotiation, problem solving, client relationship and team playing - Strong background in Management consulting or ITSP or ERP implementation, and can identify customer requirement and provide corresponding solution.
- At least 5-7 years of Strategic consulting/ERP Consulting project experience particularly with SOE/POE
- Good track record in large scale project management or solution selling.- Good business process and solutions knowledge in either manufacturing or distribution industry
- Applied creativity and advices in development of multiple solutions involving business and IT tools, technology, method & process - Solid consulting, project management and solution selling skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Self-motivated, quick-learner, open mind, and high achievement driving.
