It’s Guangdong factory mainly produces automotive electronic components, such as variable resistors, DIP switch, automotive sensors, electronic controllers.
Reporting Lines 汇报关系:
Report to: Product Line Manager (in US/UK) and Sr. Program Manager
Subordinate: None
Job Summary 职位概述:
Provide senior level leadership in organization and development of our China Program Management team. Represent the company directly to the customer and the voice of the customer (VOC) to the company organization. Assemble and lead cross functional APQP Teams for new product development through launch. Assure that all customer requirements, internal metrics and critical dates are met.
Key Responsibilities 主要职责:
1. Assemble and lead cross functional PDP/APQP Team for new product development through launch.
2. Assure “safe launch” through management of the team and project to meet customer quality and delivery expectations.
3. Manage product and assembly line transfers into and out of our China facilities.
4. Track and manage the program budget to ensure all financial metrics are met.
5. Lead Cost reduction and margin improvement activity to ensure financial metrics can be met.
6. Facilitate completion of appropriate requirements for prototype and production program deliverables.
7. Review and update the business case/ project agreement as the program scope changes.
8. Ensure proper technical and commercial interface occurs with the customer and internal departments.
9. Attend and participate in customer meetings.
10. Gather information necessary to develop cost study and quote to customer.
11. Manage program and customer open issues list. Facilitate completion of action items on open issues list.
12. Assist Sales for follow-up on open commercial issues with customers.
13. Other job-related duties as requested by the Director of Program Management.
Job Requirements 职位要求:
1. Bachelor degree, major in Engineering or related.
2. At least 5 years of previous Program Management or project leadership experience, with automotive background is preferred.
3. Strong working knowledge and proven experience in PDP/APQP and PPAP.
4. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
5. Proven experience and interaction with suppliers, customers and Senior Management.
6. Know how to use MS Windows and MS Office Package especially Excel & PowerPoint.
7. Ability to use MS Project and/or other timeline software tools.
8. Understanding of Critical Path concepts for Projects.
9. Program Management Certification (PMP or similar) is advantageous but not required.
10. Experience with PCB, electronic components, magnetics, stamping, plastic injection molding, low and high volume assembly helpful.
11. ERP/MRP system experience desirable.
