ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: ????

QM must employ a variety of measures to place quality at the Head and heart of the organization. These include management systems such as ISO 9001, philosophies such as Total Quality Management, and methodologies such as Continuous Improvement. The position includes but it is not limited to the following activities:

Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.

Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.

Ensure that operations practices are properly executed to comply with quality standards.
Evaluating the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirements
Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation. Considering the application of environmental, health and safety standards.
Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.
Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.
Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters.
Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks.
Writing technical and management systems reports.
Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree comprehensive quality procedures.
Persuading reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality methods.
Coordination with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications.
Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
Identification, segregation and following up to internal and customer compliances until its resolution and disposition.
REQUIREMENTS: ??

Education: BS degree in the Engineering or related field or the equivalent work experience ??????
Experience: 3-5 years of Quality assurance experience in Manufacturing Production processes.
1-3 years demonstrated experience in the implementation and/or facilitation of ISO 9001 and

Continuous improvement principles.??????

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Possess lean six sigma knowledge and experience, green belt or black bell preferred
Must have the ability to understand and align with business unit policies and procedures.
Must have the knowledge to ensured that Quality policies and targets are achieved in a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis
Excellent communications skills- both verbal and written
Bilingual preferred; English as a second language.
Supplier selection and integration
Knowledge of composition; Physical and Chemical, of different kinds of steel.
Excellent relationship skills
Flexibility and adaptability
Ability to identify and implement best practices
SELF MOTIVATED, PROACTIVE:
Can deliver results with minor supervision or hand-holding , if told objective, will find support and ways to meet it in content and timing.
