Company is seeking a highly motivated, energetic Commercialization
Management Professional to lead our commercialization/productization process. This
position will be a part of our Customer Service and Innovation centre team. The candidate
will support internal customers across the full innovation continuum; from early-stage R&D to
commercialization.
Working with Marketing and Innovation centre to analyse and contribute to a solid
understanding and development of the value proposition of a technology and create strategies
to encourage our customers to make purchase decisions on both online and offline channels
The candidate is to support the Innovation centre’s technology aspiration by formulating a
commercialization strategy to reach targeted user segments. The candidate is expected also to
provide innovation management and technology commercialization services to the company
Asia affiliates globally.
The candidate is expected to lead cross-functional teams on projects that could be expanding
product SKUs or margin enhancement both online and offline. This position leads all planning
and implementation aspects of the project and is organizationally aligned in the Supply Chain
Department.

This individual is expected to:
1. Customer Focus. Possess a strong understanding and synthetization of the
customer’s expectations, user experience and user unmet needs and apply this
information to strategic and tactical decision making.
2. Multi-Tasking. Have an ability to juggle multiple the sometimes-shifting priorities
due to a dynamic business environment and maneuverer the team to meet the
objectives and to promote cross divisional partnerships in jointly developing
products and new technologies and sharing best practices
3. Leadership. Capability to lead a cross functional team, global teams, external
partners and organise competitive benchmarking activities to identify and address
product gaps. These include product tear-downs, PEP process, customer interviews,
online research and other benchmarking methodologies.
4. Communication. Have strong communication skills, specifically in influencing,
negotiating and persuading.
5. Experience. Have prior experience in designing and deploying project management
methodologies/framework.
6. Participate actively. In product life-cycle and management, development,
profitability and market share growth of assigned products categories.
7. Contribute to. Product development programs utilizing the Gate process and
Product Development Process, ensuring project schedules are created, maintained,
updated, and delivered to.
8. Develop and maintain. A 5 year multi-generation product road map that positions
the company products to win in the marketplace, drives customer centric innovations,
ensures P&L growth, and includes the latest VOC input
9. Collaboration. Work with Engineering, manufacturing and purchasing to drive cost
reduction activities to maintain and grow product portfolio profitability.
10. Liaison. To work with quality group to monitor product quality and warranty metrics.
Assist in resolving and implementing product quality correction solutions and
programs.
11. Develop. Ability to create a product category dashboard and reports to monitor and
drive growth in market share, unit volume, profitability, customer mix, product mix
and market trends. Provide analysis and recommendations regarding marketing
programs and product portfolio enhancements for assigned products.
12. Support. To support the development and maintenance of product literature,
product training, sales training, product pricing and product marketing materials
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Manage a portfolio of customer-driven new product development projects from
prototype design to launch. This includes management of the official commercialization
and Hand-off from Research and Development to Quality Assurance as a Core Product.
Serve as a liaison to key internal functions to ensure customer expectations are
exceeded and schedules and budgets are met. Assist with development of project
timeline, work breakdown structure and resource requirements
Anticipate, communicate and manage issues and risks to project success. Ensure
continuous improvement of project management process through evaluation,
recommendation, and implementation of improvements. Assist with the socialization
and deployment of process improvements. Reinforce project management best
practices and methodology across functions. Provide PM Mentorship and Guidance to
colleagues.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
1. Daily engagement with a cross-functional team primarily consisting of: Sales,
Operations, Research and Development, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Strategic
Procurement, Planning, Finance, and Customer Service.
2. Manage and communicate project status, schedule, and deliverables.
3. Facilitate and lead weekly discussions with cross-functional team to communicate
status of current deliverables and elevate any topics impacting success of project
delivery.
4. Facilitate and lead Pre-Trial discussions with key stakeholders to ensure Group
Asia Gate processes and Customer expectations are clearly defined and
system and documentation requirements are in place.
5. Support Plant Trials, as required, to ensure proper set-up and checklist requirements
are in place.
6. Facilitate Post-Trial discussions with key stakeholders to review results, determine
next steps, and capture lessons learned.
7. Maintain ownership and leadership of post-commercialization process through the
hand-off process with Quality Assurance.
8. Post-Commercialization, facilitate and lead a lessons learned review, capture
findings, and implement into on-going commercialization process.
Desired Skills & Experience:
? Education: Bachelors Degree or higher
? Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience
? Certifications: Must have PMP Certification and/or Six Sigma Certification
? Experience with SharePoint and other PM Software a plus.
? Experience in Operations, Engineering, and/or Technical Services is preferred.
