Scope of the Work:
To develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet the company’s objectives, effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the products in GST. Responsible for managing the product life cycle, developing product strategy and roadmap, own the product pricing, develop the product go-to-market plan, design sales tools, provide product support to regional sale and technical support team. Also responsible for promoting GST brands, products and solution in targeted verticals.
Key Responsibility
1.Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
2.Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
3.Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
4.Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
5.Initiate NPD programs, co-operate with program managers and other functional teams to drive the NPD project implementation, responsible for the go-to-market strategy, including product marketing documentation, sales tools, product training, product launch programs and etc. Responsible for local product line management processes such as EOL and etc
6.Responsible for the product pricing and margin. Responsible for develop the price list for owned product lines; joined for special price approval; work with finance team to manage the product transfer price. Track and analyze the performance of product lines on regular basis.
7. Develop the product solutions to the targeted verticals; implement the promotion programs to drive business growth in these areas.
8.Be the local focal person for global product management team. Ensure the local product plan are align with overall product roadmap; and drive the localization of global products.
9.Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
10.Determine and manage the marketing budget
Qualifications & Compentencies
Education: A recognized bachelor degree or above, MBA is highly preferred
Work experience: 8+ years experience, a minimum 5 years with a marketing or product management role, D&A experience is preferred, experience working in a multi-national company product management function is preferred.
Other Requirements: ? Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin;
? Analytical, proactive and able to foster effective working relationships with local factory team and corporate leadership team
? Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
? Demonstrated ability to champion and execute strategies to meet goals
? Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a challenging situation, focus on both process and result.
? Extensive knowledge of marketing and product mgmt and NPD/NPI
? High business ethical standards
