职位设置目的
Purpose of Position:
? To provide overall customer management with respect to delivery, inventory, shipments, releases and obsolescence.
? The demand planner is responsible for ensuring all customer sales requirements are internally understood so that commitments are achieved or surpassed. This is achieved by liaising with our internal suppliers to ensure a predictable, accurate and consistent delivery of products.
? The demand planner is actively involved in the day to day operational processes required to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled on time

Principal Accountabilities:
? Setup, oversee and manage the inbound EDI from customers; ensure accuracy. Work with the customers to address issues on a timely basis and report any discrepancies to the demand manager
? Obtain release data from website-based customers
? Obtain daily JIT requirements
? Enter manual orders from customers into ERP without delay.
? Monitor net change in customer requirement on each release; notify Demand Manager of all changes
? Keep detailed records of demand fluctuation and any related communication.
? Match and resolve any cumulative year to date (CYTD) ship data issues with customers.
? Be familiar with CYTD rollover activities and issues.
? Communicate as needed with all customers via telephone/email.
? Communicate internally as needed to support customer requirements.
? Ensure all master files for customers are current, including price detail
? Create and maintain files for each customer location; perform this task in conjunction with Shipping/Receiving
? Responsible for on time delivery which includes the co-ordination of shipping activities with customers, shipment creation and documentation follow up
? Understanding, analyze and management of potential liability in an automotive environment. This is achieved by understanding and reporting all customer delivery issues on a daily basis to minimize expedited freight
? Responsible to identify and act on maximizing sales opportunities through an understanding of Automotive Release Control Methods of releases and liabilities.
? Responsible for the co-ordination of customer balance out activities and the obsolescence claims follow up
General
? Familiar with customer requirements
? Able to work in a cross functional team environment with sales, production planning, plant teams and product development
? Resolve invoicing issues such as corrections, credits, pricing
学历及技能要求
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
? College degree or above, over three years plant demand planning experience in manufacturing environment;
? Strong written and oral communications required
? Good communication both in English and Mandarin
? Ability to use and understand MRP/ERP systems, Microsoft office
? Able to handle multiple tasks and independently prioritize workload
? Self starter
