Sales Support Intern
As part of the Sales Team, be responsible for providing appropriate sales, administrative, and customer support functions. Where necessary concentrate on the needs and values of Steelcase existing accounts to ensure they are provided with the best possible on-time response & service. Ensure a proactive approach to maintaining strong relationships internally and externally, and provide successful problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

2。录取客户的查询。通过“销售组”管道回应他们。
3。为项目经理预备项目详情和简报。
4。确保建筑师和设计师图书馆目录是最更新。
5。建立和维持目录数据库登记。
6。准备报价,包括产品呈现
7。与销售组联系关于一切询问关于建筑师/设计师和最终用户。
1. Work in close collaboration with the Sales Team on future and pre-determined Key Accounts
2. Take customers enquiry and co-ordinate response through “Sales Team” back to customer.
3. Preparation of project details and briefing for Project Manager
4. Work with Architects & Designers to ensure that their library catalogues are up to date
5. Establish & maintain a catalogues register database (e.g. who has what catalogues)
6. Prepare quotes, including product representation where necessary
7. Communicate with the “Sales Team” regarding all enquiries with Architects/Designers, and End User customers.
ORDER ENTRY / ORDER CONFIRMATION

1。与Operations和后勤协调,确保所有客户发票处理和分配安排得有效和在限定的时间。
2。协调货款和保持货款登记。
3。管理销售数据输入进Steelcase Hedberg系统和确保准确性。
4。一切被输入的订单在Hedberg要立刻被记录在销售汇报里。
5。保持投标回应和投标数据库为备查。
6。保持Steelcase的软件学习工具全面质询
1. Through coordination with Operations and Logistics ensure all client invoice processing and distribution is carried out in an efficient and adequate timeframe
2. Coordinate loan furniture requirements and maintain loan register
3. Manage data input for the entry of sales orders into the Steelcase Hedberg system and ensure accuracy of acknowledgement
4. All orders raised in Hedberg must be recorded on the ongoing sales report immediately after orders have been placed in Hedberg.
5. Maintain a database of tender responses and bids for future reference
6. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of information on Steelcase software learning tools.
ADMINISTRATION

1. Through the establishment of an up to date client database, establish a monthly mail-out/e-mail communication to A & D, Project Managers and end users
2. Maintain client database ensuring all contact details for customers by company are kept up to date
3. Establish tender templates and a data base of information ready for tender responses

Knowledge & Experience Required
Essential
1. MS Office proficiency – Word / Acrobat / Powerpoint / intermediate Exel
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3. Good organisational skills
4. Knowledge of office administration and procedures, filing, call management and equipment
Desirable
1. Knowledge of furniture or related markets
2. Previous experience in a similar or related role
Professional Skills
1. Demonstrate a commitment to upholding the firm’s core values and behavioural standards
2. An ability to perform secretarial and clerical duties with speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision
3. Be capable of attending meetings and taking and transcribing notes, preparing drafts of notes on the word processor and finalising these
4. Organise and maintain files, answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate people and handle calls if knowledgeable on the subject under discussion
5. An ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all co-workers, customers and the general public
6. Demonstrate good judgment in recognizing scope of authority
