This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a young ambitious company. Reporting to the Head of Global Sales you will be responsible for business development and growth of sales for China.


Client Details

Range International has developed a proprietary ThermoFusion™ technology that enables the production of pallets from 100% recycled mixed scrap plastic. The result are pallets that have outstanding strength, durability, are uniform in dimension and weight and meet the demands of today's modern supply chains. Our space-saving Nestable design is very economical to distribute both locally and internationally, requiring only one third of the space required by wooden pallets


Description

-Managing and exceeding sales targets

-Developing long lasting business relationships with customers at all levels

-Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and pallet requirements

-Feeding back customer and industry requirements to the management team with a view to developing new products

-Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations

-Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business

-Responding in a timely manner to incoming sales enquiries

-Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with customers at all levels

-Gathering market and customer information

-Overcoming objections

-Advising customers on forthcoming product developments

-Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding processes

-Recording and reporting of sales and order information and relaying this in a timely manner to the line manager

-Management and development of subordinates and reviewing their performance

-Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues




Profile

-Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales is essential

-Must have a minimum of 5 years working in a sales position within the supply chain/logistics industry

-A strong understanding or experience with the use and application of cargo pallets is preferred

-Preferably some managerial experience

-Fluently Bilingual in English and Chinese
