This position is a new opening and work closely with global senior management and regional team. It focuses on finance operations, local management, strategy planning, and business performance review.

My client is an American company with clear future development emphasis on China market. With Tianjin as their China headquarter, they are keen to have a capable Regional Controller to join the business, and strengthen their China finance leadership team.


Description

By reporting directly to their Finance VP based in the U.S., your responsibilities include:

-Lead and improve local finance team in accounting, analysis, tax and all other parts

-Finance operation responsibilities like setting up SOP, finance process and accounting policy etc.

-Maintain local financial statements, and smooth consolidation into group accounts in US GAAP

-Strategic finance/business partnership with different stakeholders across departments and across the globe.




Profile

The successful applicant needs to possess solid technical skills in finance, so that he/she is capable on structuring/improving their finance team and establishing relevant policies. For better transition to the role, he/she needs to have over 8 years working experience in FMCG/retail/manufacturing sectors ideally in multinational companies. On soft skill side, good communications in Chinese and English is needed, as the role involves massive communications across the globe and across functions. Their current system in use is NetSuite.
