PURPOSE:

Responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to Supply Chain Management.

Responsible for managing and overseeing the methods and processes in support of both new and existing customers and products.



PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES:

·Drives supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Flextronics's financial competitiveness.

·Perform materials data analyses related but not exclusive to sourcing, costing/pricing, inventories, planning, and production.

·Participates in the review of supplier contracts by outlining materials requirements and considerations.

·Drives supply chain activities with Flextronics Vertical Integration Partners to ensure agreed quality, delivery and pricing T&C's are met.

·Prepares Customer Supply Chain Mgmt information and participates in customer reviews.

·Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives.

·Interacts regularly with executives, customers and suppliers.

·Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration

·Review all new material quotes , make recommendation for optimizations

·Responsible for material financials, develop initiatives for continuous improvements




REQUIRED Basic Qualifications (must have skills):

·Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training is needed. A Master's or MBA degree is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Mgmt / Materials is required. Operational experience is a plus.

·Must have a thorough understanding of Flextronics and related business and have a good knowledge of company practices. Show advanced functional, technical and/or process management skills.

·Demonstrates expert knowledge of the Materials functions including Planning and Sourcing.

·Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional areas/processes and understanding of interdependencies of such areas/processes at different sites and across several sites.

·Demonstrates excellent relationship skills internal and external with company staff, customers, suppliers, and other partners.

·Must demonstrate experience using the following tools: Microsoft Office word, spread sheets, and presentation packages.

·Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and find appropriated solutions.

·Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex data and documents. Ability to work with mathematical concepts

·Ability to respond effectively and timely to inquiries or complaints.

·Ability to communicate in English (written and verbally). Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to senior management and customers.
