Responsibilities:
? Lead Manufacturing Engineering support activities for multiple New Product Development programs. Acts as advisor and mentor to 1st tier supplier
? Formulate Strategies and Implementation in line with company goals and objectives.
? Select, manage and develop the ME team deploying the Companies NPD/ NPI goals at Suppliers..
? Conduct periodic Performance reviews of the ME Team members, ensuring appropriate, frank and objective feedback to each team member.
? Provides expertise in the area of Lean Manufacturing.
? Ensuring that the NPI and sustaining manufacturing products have robust process design that “Design for Manufacturing” is considered focusing on defect-prevention through error-proofing.
? Liaise with Ninja Design and Engineering departments whilst supporting the allocated supplier for the relevant new or sustaining project.
? Drive the PFMEA, Process Control Plans quality activities.
? Manages the timeliness and robustness of “Manufacturing Engineering Work Packages” during the NPD/ NPI activities.
? Define and deploy Standardized and best practice Manufacturing Processes for the assembly of Ninja products at suppliers.
? Ensure that new processes defined as part of NPI process, reflect DFSS and DFA .
? Ensuring that the Suppliers have an infrastructure and capable personnel assigned to support the NPI & manufacturing process
? Facilitate the introduction of tools, jigs & fixtures and to complete gauge R & R for the elimination of errors
? Suppliers’ Process Control Plans quality activities are completed and reviewed on an ongoing basis
? Monitor Supplier Ongoing assembly line readiness for MP and initiate process improvement activities for current assembly lines at supplier.
? Ensuring that the product that is manufactured meets specification
? Contribute to the timely completion of the Product Readiness activities across the China Ninja organization.
? Ensuring that all risks are identified and communicated to the business and that an action plan is created to resolve any “critical” manufacturing related concerns.
? Provide regular ME reporting to VP Quality and Senior Management
? Supports Quality Engineering activities to improve customer satisfaction and successful achievement of company quality objectives.

Position Requirements/ Experience:
? 15 years+ working experience in a Manufacturing environment, including 5 years in Leadership position in Manufacturing Engineering
? Extensive experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Development and New Product Introduction.
? Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles and Error Proofing.
? Demonstrated high level of engagement and self-motivation
? Strong sense of responsibility and high level deliverability
? Strong communications and interpersonal skills: presents ideas in a style that is clear, fluent and to-the-point
? Practical experience in metrology, test, inspection and analysis techniques
? Have thorough knowledge of quality tools to drive supplier quality professionally
? Proactive and Optimism
? Action/result oriented: Achieves high level, sustainable performance and results; is bottom-line oriented; steadfastly pushes self and encourages others to grasp ownership for achieving timely, quality, agreed upon results; is highly energetic;
