he Durability Engineer Expert is responsible for the development of new products in line with planning, process, quality and cost targets (material warranty test). He she is also responsible for the standardization and the improvement of the calculation testing methodologies and the product know-how in line with the group innovation strategies.

The main missions of the role are to:

Give directions for CAE simulations: static, dynamic, CFD, modal, thermo dynamics

Test designing: engine endurance test (vibration, thermal), fatigue test, Road load acquisition, canning vibration, corrosion.

Interact with the others teams (CAD, process, NVH...) to create a robust product by achieving the best trade-off between the various constraints

Propose solutions and troubleshoot based on the testing and the prediction results

Take part in the control the prototype builds for testing

Participate in the Development Validation Plan (DVP) with Product Engineer and validate it.

Finalize with the test team leader the test schedule

Member of the Durability Technical network, build up the international network, especially with Korea to create synergy. Get support from Europe and Korea and contribute to the experience share with the global team.

VA/VE proposal for cost reduction ensuring the durability of the product.

Propose ways to improve efficiency and quality for CAE jobs

Innovate new procedures for the CAE simulation and the test to better simulate the reality (correlation) and anticipate risks

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Speak Chinese and English fluently. Korean French German a plus.

Master or PhD in engineering mechanics NVH

? Minimum of 2-3 years in a research lab or in a similar position in the automotive industry.

Proven experience in trouble shootings in mechanical NVH fields.

Strong knowledge in mechanical and vibrational behavior.

Ability to solve problems on your own as well as work in a team

Strong attention to details and accuracy.

Good knowledge of Program standards, tools, and methods of product development

Team player with strong communication skills

International creative ownership mind set

Papers published by recognized organizations (JASA, SAE,...) is a plus

Oversea experience is a plus.

Programming skills (JAVA, C+) is a plus.
