The Product Engineer is responsible for the CVE (Commercial Vehicle Entity) product design & development of new or existing programs, in line with planning, process, quality and cost targets. As well he/she is responsible for the CVE product team management. He/she applies Group standards following the Faurecia Excellence System (FES) and uses Faurecia's Program Management System (PMS) to guide the concept and design detail of a product, tool and/or equipment.

The main missions of the role are to:

? Manage a Program File in Product Data Management (PDM) (including roles & rights), maintaining appropriate product and process definitions.

? Manage technical aspects of a program: Prepare and update other program related technical documentation; Ensure that the technical convergence plan meets product quality and costs targets; Ensure that the PMS technical milestone deadlines are met; Manage Bought Out Parts (BOP) definition and ensure technical integration of suppliers, Coordinate technical management of tool suppliers relying on process/tool engineers and experts.

? Interface with the customer's engineering team and technical support for new business development.

? Plan critical path.

? Manage CVE product team and coach / training to team members.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have/be:

? Bachelor or Master degree in engineering

? More than 3 years experience in Design & Development within automotive industry, ideally in CVE

? Knowledge and experience in the Project Management process

? Appropriate training in product desig / development tools as CAD, CAE etc.

? Knowledge and experience in primary manufacturing methods

? Team player with communication skills and presentation to customer

? Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
