职位描述
1. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
Support the China Logistics Manager in providing Operational Excellence to internal functions and external customers.
He/she will be part of the Logistics team in ensuring the proper discharge of requirements by service providers using performance indicators and conduct process evaluation. This includes attending to all transportation and logistics matters for the specified key customer accounts, providing relevant periodic business reports for management decision-making and ensuring that all Key Performance Indices meet or exceed the targeted goals.
He/she will Manage and Co-ordinate the daily operations including freight and local transportation arrangements.
He/She will ensure the correct mode, timing of shipments, and the correct carrier is used, to meet customer requested delivery date.
He/She will work with external service providers such as freight forwarders, shipping lines, warehouses and internal functions such as customer service representative (CSR), and product planners to effect shipments, be it domestic or export.
He/She will need to resolve any operational execution matters in order not to have impact on customers, and Communicate any possible delays to appropriate parties, and where possible, provide alternatives. He/She will act as the China Import Co-ordinator, and work with Global and Regional Logistics, CSRs, and Product Planners on imports and domestic China distribution. He/She will help resolve any issues faced on Customs Clearance and Import paperwork.
He/She will report any additional transport related cost to supervisor and finance team.
He/She will perform claims investigation and payout to customers; liaise with surveyors and insurance agents on all claim matters impacting China customers. He/she will work with the Logistics Co-ordinator in Singapore to handle all claims for all modes of transportation and ensures that all are handled professionally, impartial and in a timely manner.
He/she will also investigate complaints/non-conformances related to service and delivery reliability impacting customers in China; reply and document preventive actions. He/she will liaise closely with the Complaint Advocate and the service providers for on-time complaint resolution, meeting the set goals and responsible for flawless customer claim investigation.
He/she will be responsible for the freight/logistics rate auditing; checking and solving the problem concerning invoices that were put on hold by the system. He/she will check and analyze problem invoices, act as a contact between internal departments and external suppliers for re-posting of invoices.
Will also work closely with the operations and planning team in developing sound business processes and documentation in seeking operational excellence. He/she will be an integral part of Global Logistics and the core focus is to provide all aspects of delivery and service reliability and claims handling. In managing these functions, he/she will work with several corporate, regional, and site groups such as Product Management & Planning and outsourced logistics service providers.
1. Min Degree holder
2. Min 1 to 2 yrs experience working in a similar position or related-industry
3. Excellent analytical, and problem solving skills
4. Good understanding of the various business model and processes
5. Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task and deliver high quality results
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Customer-focused and commercial attitude
8. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
9. General knowledge of logistics service provider operations, financial conditions, personnel, industry trends, rules, and regulations
10. Good relationship building skills, both internally and externally
11. Good judgment and decision-making skills, with limited supervision
12. Knowledge of supplier base, trade lanes, and other general industry knowledge
13. Proactive in their work environment.
14. Proficient in MS Office applications and SAP R3
15. Must be meticulous and organized
16. Must find preparing reports and analyzing statistics a challenge
