Department: Division Marketing
Reports to (Position): Brand Director
Key Internal Contacts: Region Marketing
Key External Contacts: Advertising Agency
Business Area: Mainland China (Based in Shanghai)
Job Objective
Within the framework of Division Marketing strategies, achieve business objectives of Coca-Cola brand through development and implementation of strategic brand marketing plans.
Key Result Areas
1. Marketing Planning (15%)
? Participate in business plan in delivering the volume, profit and share objectives, as well as building brand equity
? Identify incremental volume and growth opportunities in relation to new package launch and product extension, based on market environment and sound consumer insights
? Monitor competitive activities, brand health and brand share.
? Consumer Insights
Work with in-house and external research team to provide information in continuously deepening the consumer understanding
2. Performance Management (15%)
? Continuously measure (monthly process) and monitor Coca-Cola brand volume performance and performance across key brand equity and operational measures
3. Advertising Development & Trademark Protection (35%)
? Lead the Advertising Agency to think strategically and focus on developing high quality advertising which truly leverage on the superior consumer insights
? Monitor execution of assigned projects and ensure prompt delivery in relation to overall marketing schedule
? Protects & enhances trademark usage & standards on all package & advertising materials, provide Region, Agencies, and suppliers with appropriate guidelines
4. New Package Development (10%)
? Execute package development work through technical function and commercial leadership
? Work through with Consumer Insights Group to refine and optimize packaging and positioning and communications developmental work
5. Promotions and Channel Program Development (5%)
? Lead the advertising agency, promotion agency and counterparts in Region to ensure excellent execution of promotion
? Supervision of execution details
6. Region Communication (10%)
? Take leadership role in communication on assigned project with Region Marketing
? Liaise with Region Marketing and align Region and Bottlers with the brand business plan
? Monitor execution progress as needed
7. DME Control (10%)
? Monitor the expense status

? ? Execute regular brand and business health analysis to identify issues and opportunities (Proficient)
Independent Judgment:
Typically receives assignments in the form of projects and results expected but has freedom to decide on priorities and how to accomplish assignments.
Knowledge & Experience:
4-8 years of marketing experience in multinational FMCG companies
Education & Professional Qualification:
Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Marketing or related field
Language Requirements:
Excellent written and oral English & Chinese skills
