职位描述
The Opportunity:
Global Private Equity firm with US$30 billion under management / committed capital with headquarters located in New York is looking for an Accountant to handle accounting and finance matters for its Shanghai Office.
Reporting:
The position will report to the Controller - North Asia.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain financial records for the Shanghai Branch -- Maintain general ledger, prepare financial statements, prepare supporting schedules
-Coordinate with service providers for compliance of the Shanghai Branch, e.g. tax filing, statistics bureau reporting, finance bureau reporting, annual Administration of Industry and Commerce compliance, etc.
Ideal Profile of the Candidate:
-4-5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in Chinese subsidiary/ branches of foreign firm
-Experience in handling tax reporting (e.g. VAT, enterprise income tax, individual income tax)
-Experience in handling various government agency reporting, including but not limited to Administration of Industry and Commerce and Statistics Bureau, etc.
-Able to communicate in written English and can speak simple English
-Experience in use of accounting software, like Kingdee and USOFT
-Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel
-The ability to work well both independently and in teams is a must
