Role & Responsibilities 1. Trade Lane Product Development ? Conduct market profiling and customer/competitor research & analysis activities to understand and identify market opportunities and challenges ? New product evaluation, set-up and launch for GCA-USA trade lane ? Analyze the buying situation in the market and pro-actively advises organization on expected changes ? Initiate selling rate proposals in close cooperation with Global Product ? Initiate and chair the regular calls align on customer strategies with counterpart countries as well as with GCA management and Sales team 2. Trade Lane Business Growth Achievement ? Monitor and drive sales performance of sales leads & opportunities in all GCA stations ? Actively manage and develop revenue growth for GCA trade lane ? Implement & achieve targets ensuring successful results against sales budgets ? Implement effective pricing strategies to sustain profitable growth ? Joint sales call with field sales for GCA lane business ? Pro-actively advise 'sponsor' of trade lanes developments (with the use of Seabury/MIS/EIS information systems) and possible challenges including proposals to further improve TL performance 3. Trade Lane Performance Maintenance and Improvement ? Maintain and grow oversea controlled business with overseas partner as well as GCA Sales/CRD teams ? Acting as interface between product and sales and responsible for a successful trade lane execution in line with corporate Trade Lane Manual ? Communication with overseas to enhance and improve service level ? Work with product team to enhance existing product Education, Experience, Certification and Training requirements ? Bachelor degree or above ? Minimum of 7 years experience in services and logistics industry, min. 3 years or above trade lane / commercial function is required ? Job related experience in Trade Lane management is highly desirable ? Strong MS applications, fluent English and Mandarin ? Extensive communications with overseas offices verbally and written ? In-depth understanding of USA trade lane for air and ocean freight ? More experience will be considered as Senior Trade Lane Manager Job Skills and Competencies for this position ? Sales, marketing and business development experience ? Well developed, commercial and strategic business skills ? Good interpersonal skills ? Result-oriented ? Team player
