Job Output:
Cooperation and leadership of operation-, recipe- and product optimization projects in existing production as well as during introduction of new products and operations.
¨ Involve to develop new product, project launch coordination with production
¨ Production process improvement
- Determine room for improvement and commute them into projects
- Implementing improvement projects into production
- Production support in project implementing
- Point out training needs according to project implementing.
- Project launch documentation
¨ Reduction and improvement of development work
¨ Co-operating with raw material suppliers
¨ Using external services
¨ Resolve daily production problems related to raw materials and processing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
¨ Budgeting & cost calculation of the respective projects of technical and cost-saving aspects including the resource and time schedule.
¨ Make technical tests in the context of the work
¨ Coordinate for technical and project completion up to the delivery into production
¨ Reporting and documentation/archiving
¨ Administrative completion of the technical tasks
¨ Care & develop of internal and external suppliers' relations
¨ Goal fulfillment of the transferred projects
¨ Project coordinating with other departments, cooperate with New Product Development and Quality
¨ Reporting and documentation
¨ Change management process
¨ Provide technical support to manufacturing
¨ Provide technical support for maintenance
Key data/measures for area of responsibility:
¨ Budget & cost
¨ Quality parameters
¨ Standards and operational defaults (e.g. raw material exchange...)
¨ Adjustment into the chemical and process engineering details of production and products (processes, process parameter, raw materials, recipes). Goal: Recognize improvement potential
in the production process.
Organizational Relationships:
¨ Reports to Engineering & Maintenance Manager
Qualifications Required
¨ Bachelor degree in chemical or materials related major , previous working as chemistry engineer, technician and main responsibility on process engineering
¨ Knowledge in plastic materials
¨ Large volume plastic raw material knowledge
¨ First work experiences in manufacturing industry, as technician and/or process engineer is desirable.
¨ Knowledge in calender /extruder/mixing procedure are desirable
¨ Development, planning and support of technical equipment
¨ Usual Computer applications (MS-Office,)
¨ Process Engineering
¨ Employee instruction at new/modified assets
¨ Good command of oral English
